Subjects Taught

I grew up in the Greeneville City School system and graduated from Greeneville High School in 2007. In 2011, I received my B.S. degree in early childhood education from Carson-Newman College. In 2015, I received my M.A. degree in curriculum and instruction with a reading specialist certification from Carson-Newman.

I have six years of experience in teaching pre-k here at Eastview. I believe in an active, hands-on approach to learning that allows children to construct their knowledge through guided experiences. In pre-k, we focus on beginning literacy and math skills as well as developing positive social and emotional skills. We are going to have a great year!

I grew up here in Greeneville, and I love living in East Tennessee! I enjoy kayaking, hiking, and reading. I have a very sweet and mischievous miniature dachshund named Copper. I am passionate about working with young children, and my goal is to help them build a strong foundation during their first year of school to succeed!
